Colophon: Here end the two poems L'allegro and Il penseroso, written by John Milton, first printed in 1645, from the text of which edition one hundred and sixty copies have been printed with decorations cut on wood from designs by H. M. O'Kane. Printed and sold by Clarke Conwell at the Elston press. New Rochelle, New York. Finished this sixteenth day of December, MDCCCCIII.
